Not that I could think of. There were a lot of challenges with this project and they met them with poise and excellence.
Sometimes we had to follow-up on some topics. But this can happen when managing very complex projects.
I don’t think that there’s really anything to be improved. They’re hitting all the marks right now.

They provided a PM an BA that was able to gather our requirements and communicate them to the engineers. They had QA team that were able to test solutions and demonstrate them back to us. More recently I was added as a tech lead from our company to work with the team.

I have found the engineers are proactive and understand the requirements well. This means they are able to make intelligent choices during a task or project rather than do everything in the spec literally and without thought of the user experience.

Delivery is usually on time but when it is not there are clear reasons and it is usually a result of change in scope or an unexpected issue with a 3rd party API/service not working as documented.

They were exceptional in their project management, clear in their communication and timely in their response. This was especially notable given our time-difference (13 hours!). If there were questions -- either from us or from them -- they responded quickly and made themselves available in off hours to meet our needs. We were extremely pleased with their work and management.

To rebuild and redesign the architecture of our free app (iChill) for both front and back ends that is scalable, allowing for new languages and features to be more easily added in subsequent releases.

To add two additional languages to increase accessibility of the app.

Appeak Technologies directed us through the entire process of wireframing, site design and development of a new website. Starting with the site structure document supplied by the branding team, we collaborated to create a wireframe outline. Appeak Technologies then built a series of detailed wireframes. He created a custom website characterized by pages, posts, sidebar and a recipe filtration system featuring flexible visual composer templates. Additionally, he listed an external team to handle the design of the site.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

Appeak Technologies is comprised of smart people who learned and incorporated feedback as the project progressed. They also worked hard to stay within budget, which we really appreciated.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

However, they’ve had to adjust timelines when something complicated has come up or if there have been gaps in our requirements. We use Azure DevOps to share tasks and Microsoft Teams and email for communication. The team logs into their timesheet daily.
