The whole process was transparent.

They were using an offline version for the invoicing and stock handling and they had to always refresh everything when any sale was completed online or offline. The system wasn’t suitable for them and they wanted a new solution.

We had a large B2B website, content dense, integrated with Marketo, in two languages (EN and CN) that had been built on Drupal 9. Due to Drupal 9 end of life, we had to migrate to Drupal 11, which would involve a complete rebuild of the site structure, and then migrating over the hundreds of pages of content and content assets that we had.

During it's lifetime, the D9 site had also accrued a number of changes and features that made it very unwieldy and frustrating to use on the back-end. The website is a very important tool in our global marketing and lead generation, a critical channel for providing the rich technical content (e.g., Webinars, White papers) that our engineering customers want to see. Our goals with the project were:

we wanted to make some improvements to site design, navigation, and user experience
